| HOLTON | Kenneth John | Sergeant
(Air Bomber) 1334695, 150 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve,
Mediterranean Command. Killed in action flying out of Amendola,
Italy, in a Vuickers Wellington X, serial number JA351, when his
aircraft was lost during a raid on the Avisio Viaduct near Trento,
Italy, 15 May 1944. Buried in PADUA WAR CEMETERY, Italy. Plot I.

| ROWLAND | Charles Alan | Flying
Officer (Pilot) 152356, 609 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer
Reserve, 2 Tactical Air Force Command. Killed in action flying out
of Funtington, Sussex, in a Hawker Typhoon IB, serial number MN339,
when his aircraft was shot down by a fighter at Mezidon near Caen
29 June 1944. Aged 21. Born 16 April 1923. Native of Cmbridge. Son
of Charles Haywood Rowland and Sarah Adeline Rowland, of Cambridge.
In the 1939 Register he was born 16 April 1923, a University College
Junior Clerk, resident with his parents at 68 Gilbert Road, Cambridge,
Cambridge M.B., Cambridgeshire. Buried in RANVILLE WAR CEMETERY,
Calvados, France. Plot I. Row A. Grave 1. See also Cambridge
