Aged 28. Fireman, Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. Born Goole, Yorkshire 3 July 1889. Son of Tom and Hannah Pettinger; husband of Jane Lydia Mary Pettinger (formerly Walker, nee Deane), of 103, Jackson Street, Goole, Yorks. Baptised 21 July 1899 in Goole, son of Thomas and Hannah Rebekah Pettinger. In the 1891 census he was aged 1, born Goole, Yorkshire, son of Thomas and Hannah R Pettinger, resident Jackson Street, Hook, Goole, Yorkshire & Yorkshire (West Riding). In the 1901 census he was aged 11, born Goole, Yorkshire, son of Tom and Hannah Pettinger, resident 6, Weatherill Street, Goole, Yorkshire & Yorkshire (West Riding). In the 1911 census he was aged 22, born Goole, Yorkshire, a Hairdresser, son of Thomas and Hannah Pettinger, resident 23, Pasture Road, Goole, Yorkshire & Yorkshire (West Riding). No known grave. Commemorated on TOWER HILL MEMORIAL, London.
