BRIGADE OF GUARDS MEMORIAL SERVICE 1914-1918

The Brigade of Guards comprised the Grenadier Guards, Coldstream Guards, Scots Guards, Irish Guards and the Welsh Guards. On Wednesday 5th February 1919 a memorial service was held in St Paul's Cathedral, London, at 2.30 p.m., to commemorate all the men from these Regiments that had died during the course of the Great War. The inside cover of the Order of Service reads:

In Memory of the Officers, Warrant Officers,
Non-Commissioned Officers and Men of the
(Six Regiments of the ) Brigade of Guards who
have died in the Service of their Country
during the War, 1914-1918.
