Buckland is situated between Marsworth and Aston Clinton, east of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire. The War Memorial which takes the form of a white cross, is in the churchyard of All Saints church, to the left of the lychgate.

BAIL	Edward	Private 47273. 2nd Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers. Formerly 7974 Bedfordshire Regiment. Killed in action in France & Flanders on 9th October 1917. Aged 37. Lived Buckland. Enlisted Aylesbury. Husband of Dora Dorcas Bail, of The School House, Buckland, Aylesbury. Commemorated: Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 54 to 60 and 163A.
BALL	Arthur Reginald	Lance Corporal 3256. 1st/1st Bucks Battalion, Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry. Killed in action in France & Flanders on 23rd July 1916. Aged 21. Lived Buckland. Enlisted Aylesbury. Son of Walter Ball, of Wood Farm, Buckland Common, Tring, Herts. Commemorated: Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France. Pier and Face 10 A and 10 D.
BISHOP	Charles Thomas	Acting Bombardier 68971. 54th Battery, 39th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Killed in action in France & Flanders on 24th July 1916. Born Allahabad, India. Enlisted Aylesbury, Bucks. Buried: Quarry Cemetery, Montauban, Somme, France. Ref. IV. A. 10.
BONE	William Joseph	Private 266226. 2nd/1st Bucks Battalion, Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry. Died of wounds in France & Flanders on 19th July 1916. Aged 25. Lived Buckland. Enlisted Aylesbury. Son of Daniel and Mary Bone, of Church Cottages, Buckland, Aylesbury. Commemorated: Loos Memorial, Pas de Calais, France. Panel 83 to 85.
MENDAY	Phillip	Private 43330. "A Company, 10th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry. Formerly 26079 King’s Royal Rifle Company. Died of wounds in France & Flanders on 10th May 1917. Aged 32. Born Buckland. Lived Maygrove Road, London. Enlisted Hampstead. Husband of Elizabeth Menday, of West Cottage, Buckland, Aylesbury. Buried: Bucquoy Road Cemetery, Ficheux, Pas de Calais, France. Ref. I. F. 17.

RANCE	Thomas	Private 307772. 1st/8th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Killed in action in France & Flanders on 4th November 1918. Aged 34. Born Wendover, Bucks. Lived Tring, Herts. Enlisted Aylesbury. Son of Mrs. Agnes Rance, of Model Row, Buckland, Tring, Herts. Buried: Landrecies British Cemetery, Nord, France. Ref. A. 32.
TERRY	Edward Stephen	Private 9767. 1st Battalion Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry. Killed in action in the Persian Gulf on 22nd November 1915. Born Marsworth, Herts. Lived Watford, Herts. Enlisted Aylesbury. Commemorated: Basra Memorial, Iraq. Panel 26 and 63.
TERRY	Henry Albert	Possibly: Albert Henry Terry. Private 9732. 2nd Battalion Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry. Killed in action in France & Flanders on 8th November 1915. Aged 20. Born Wiggington, Herts. Lived Watford, Herts. Enlisted Aylesbury. Son of Alfred Herbert Terry, of 112, Judge St., Watford, Herts. Buried: Cambrin Churchyard Extension, Pas de Calais, France. Ref. F. 23.
TOTT	Frederick Selby	Private 9579. 1st Battalion Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry. Died in Mesopotamia on 3rd May 1916. Born Aston Clinton, Bucks. Lived Buckland. Enlisted Aylesbury. Commemorated: Basra Memorial, Iraq. Panel 26 and 63.
WORRALL	Arthur Lawrence	(Spelt Worrell on CWGC and Warrell on CD). Private 266233. 2nd/1st Bucks Battalion, Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry. Killed in action in France & Flanders on 22nd august 1917. Aged 25. Lived Tring. Enlisted Aylesbury. Son of Mrs. M. A. Worrell, of Buckland Wharf, Aylesbury. Commemorated: Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium Panel 96 to 98.

COLLYER	Edward William	(CWGC gives name as Edmond). Lance Serjeant 5379699. 1st Battalion Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry. Died on 21st May 1940. Aged 30. Son of Harry and Alice Collyer, of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Buried: Hollain Churchyard, Brunehaut, Hainaut, Belgium. Ref. Row C. Grave 4.
NELSON, L.R.C.P, M.R.C.S.	Jean Cunison	Captain 248755. Royal Army Medical Corps. Died on 15th August 1945. Aged 30. Daughter of William George Fraser Nelson and Evelyn Margaret Nelson, of Dagnall, Buckinghamshire. Buried: Delhi War Cemetery, India. Ref. 5. K.10.
STUART MC	Leslie Maxwell	(CWGC gives name as Stewart). Second Lieutenant 117945. 8th Battalion Suffolk Regiment. Died on 29th November 1940. Aged 22. Son of James Guthrie Stewart and Katherine Mary Stewart, of Aston Clinton; husband of Dorothy Gossley Stewart. Head Boy Berkhamsted School. Awarded the Military Cross. Buried: Buckland (All Saints) Churchyard.
