Son of Col. and Mrs. Bryce Stewart, of Hinton House, King's Worthy, Winchester. Gazetted to 2nd Bn. Sept., 1913. Wounded at Ypres April, 1915. No known grave. Commemorated on BASRA MEMORIAL, Iraq. Panel 37 and 64. |

Enlisted and passed fit at Winnipeg, 15th December 1914, aged 21 years 11 months, heoight 5 feet 10 inches, girth 35½ inches, complexion dark, eyes brown, hair black; religious denomination Church of England.
