The
Memorial is situated outside the Town Hall and consists of a set of
three bronze sculptures on a stone base which was originally white,
but is stained blue-green with the weathering of the bronze. There are
no individuals named on the memorial. The memorial was unveiled by the
Earl of Clarendon 1st July 1928, the sculptor was Mary Bromet.
