Grave II. C. 4. Enlisted into the 19th (Public School) Battalion Royal Fusiliers on the 3rd of September 1914 at 64 Victoria Street, Westminster, London. He was born in 1883 in Barnet, Hertford. Wright-Ingle gave his occupation on enlistment as a barrister at law. He was appointed Lance-Corporal in May 1915 and was commissioned in July 1915. He went to France in March 1916 and was killed in action on the 30th of April 1916 while attached to the 2nd Battalion Leinster Regiment. His will shows his estate amounted to £8,869. |
