CRIDLAND	Ellis Edwin	Private 120075, 6th Battalion, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry). Died of wounds 8 May 1918. Aged 19. Born Nelson, Lancashire, resident Barley, enlisted Nelson. Son of Mark and Susannah Cridland, of Pendle Row, Barley, Burnley. Formerly 74604, Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Buried in BOULOGNE EASTERN CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. Plot IX. Row B. Grave 55.
WHITE	Gerald	Private 266802, 2nd Battalion, Monmouthshire Regiment (Territorial Force). Missing, listed as killed in action 12 April 1918. Aged 23. Born Wheatley, Booth, Lancaster, enlisted Nelson, Lancashire. Son of Mrs. Betsy White, of Whitehough, Fence, near Burnley, formerly Pendle View, Barley, near Burnley. Formerly 27847, Prince of Wales's Volunteers (South Lancashire Regiment). Attested 12 December 1915 at Nelson, aged 20 years 270 days, Engine Tenter by trade, unmarried, height 5 feet 4½ inches, weight 140lbs, chest 38 inches. No known grave. Commemorated on PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL, Hainaut, Belgium. Panel 10.
PIDWELL	Rodney	Private TR3/97722, 53rd Battalion, Manchester Regiment. Died 30th October 1918, aged 17 or 18, born 1900 in Nelson, son of John Thomas and Mary Jane Pidwell, from Barley with Wheatley Booth, father was a cotton weaver. Buried in NEWCHURCH-IN-PENDLE (ST. MARY) CHURCHYARD, Lancashire. Plot/Row/Section/Area D. Grave 27.

DUGDALE	Sydney	Able Seaman D/JX 339287, H.M.S. President III, Royal Navy. Died 11 Noevmber 1943. Aged 27. Son of John and Jane Ellen Dugdale; husband of Jessie Dugdale, of Sawley, Yorkshire. No known grave. Commemorated on PLYMOUTH NAVAL MEMORIAL, Devon. Panel 79, Column 1.
