Lance Corporal 307837, 19th Battalion, King's (Liverpool Regiment). Killed in action 30th March 1918. Aged 32. Born Darwen, enlisted and resident Southport. Son of Richard James and Ann Stott Booth, of Darwen; husband of Ellen Louise Booth, of 10, Norfolk Rd., Birkdale, Southport. Buried in SAVY BRITISH CEMETERY, Aisne, France. Unidentified grave - Listed on Roupy Road German Cemetery Memorial 65.

Note: There are now over 850, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, more than half are unidentified. Memorials are erected in the cemetery to 68 soldiers (chiefly of the 19th King's Liverpools and the 17th Manchesters), buried by the Germans in their cemetery on the St. Quentin-Roupy road, whose graves were destroyed by shell fire.

Probably Peter Halsall, Private 55049, 19th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Died of wounds 24th November 1917. Born and enlisted Southport. No known grave.
