The Langford memorial stands at the roadside and takes the form of a Celtic wheel cross standing on an octagonal three stepped base standing on a stone plinth bearing an inscription with the names of the eight men of Langford who gave their lives in the First World War.

BROWNETT	Arthur	Ernest Arthur Brownett (Ernest Arthur Llewellyn Brownett on baptism only). Private 26046. 5th Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment formerly 20090 Somerset Light Infantry. Killed in action Mesopotamia 16th January 1917. Son of Charles and Sarah Ann Brownett (nee Symes). Born 1894 Langford, enlisted Weston Super Mare and resident Langford. Commemorated Amara War Cemetery. XVIII.D.9.
BROWNING	Edgar	William Edgar Browning. Private G/67871. 6th Battalion, Royal West Surrey Regiment, formerly 50860 Worcestershire Regiment. Killed in action 23rd August 1918. Son of William Henry and Bessie Browning (nee Thatcher). Born 1899 Churchill, enlisted Weston Super Mare and resident Langford. Commemorated Meaulte Military Cemetery. F.19.
BURDGE	John	John Stembridge Burdge. Lance Corporal 15990. 8th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry. Killed in action 1st July 1916. Son of Reuben and Emma Burdge (nee Fletcher). Husband of Elsie Edith Burdge (nee Cox, now wife of Richard J Avery). Born 1895 Churchill, enlisted Bristol GLS and resident Langford. Commemorated Thiepval Memorial. Pier and Face 2A.
COX	Lewis	Lewis Frederick Cox. Private 9953. 1st Battalion, Welsh Regiment. Killed in action 25th May 1915. Son of William and Sarah Ann Cox (nee Ferris). Born 1891 Butcombe, enlisted Cardiff, Wales (pre war regular soldier as 1911) and resident Blagdon. Commemorated Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. Panel 37.
CLARK	Harold	Harold Wookey Clark. Private 202640. 2/4th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment. Killed in action 27th August 1917. Son of Thomas Joseph Cox and Alice Maria Clark (nee Wookey) of Langford. Husband of Virtue Mary Clark (nee Gray). Born 30th December 1886 Yatton and enlisted 20th May 1916 Bristol GLS. Commemorated Tyne Cot Memorial. Panel 72 to 75.
CLARK	Percy	Percy Arthur Clark. Private M2/132333. 28th Ammunition Sub Park, Army Service Corps. Died 2nd January 1918. Son of Thomas Joseph Cox and Alice Maria Clark (nee Wookey) of Langford. Born 1885 Rowberrow, enlisted Bristol GLS and resident Langford. Commemorated Fauquembergues Communal Cemetery.
DARE	William	Private 15684. A Company, 9th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, formerly 140579 Army Service Corps. Killed in action 27th March 1918. Son of Barnard and Jane Dare (nee Floyd). Born 1898 Winscombe, enlisted Axbridge and resident Langford. Commemorated Pozieres Memorial. Panel 19 to 21.
HILLING	George	George Edward Hilling. Gunner 291727. 129th Heavy Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Killed in action 27th March 1917. Son of George and Agnes Hilling (nee Philpot) of Langford. Husband of Rose Hilling (nee Clark). Born 1883 Winchester HAM, enlisted Bristol and resident Fishponds, Bristol GLS. Commemorated Ecoivres Military Cemetery. IV.H.8.
