in action 17 October 1918. Aged 30. Born Tydd, Lincolnshire, resident
beccles, Suffolk, enlisted Lowestoft. Baptised 26 August 1888 in
Sutton St. James, Lincolnshire. Son of Hunns and Ellen Guttridge,
of Hill Farm, Ellough, Beccles, Suffolk. Buried in FRESNOY-LE-GRAND
COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Aisne, France. Row B. Grave 14. |

East Surrey Regiment. Killed in action 31 March 1918. Aged 29. Born
Ellough, Suffolk, enlisted Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. Son of Frederick
William and Maria Plumb, of Ellough, Beccles, Suffolk; husband of
Alice Richards (formerly Plumb), of Red Cottages, Gillingham, Norfolk.
Baptised 8 September 1889 at All Saints, Ellough. In the 1891 census
he was aged 1, resident with his parents, Frederick William and
Maria Plumb, at Ellough, Wangford, Suffolk. In the 1901 census he
was aged 11, born Ellough, resident with his parents, Frederick
William and Maria Plumb, in Sotterley Road, Ellough, Wangford, Suffolk.
No known grave. Commemorated at POZIERES MEMORIAL, Somme, France.

Baptised 18 April 1897 in All Saints, Ellough, Suffolk. Son of James
and Hannah Woolner, of New Cottages, Ellough, Beccles. In the 1901
census he was aged 4, born Ellough, resident with his parents, James
and James, in Sotterley Road, Ellough, Wangford, Suffolk. Admitted
to Worlingham & Ellough Voluntary School in 1908. Formerly 203071,
Suffolk Regiment. Buried in COXYDE MILITARY CEMETERY, West-Vlaanderen,
