The Memorial is situated on the edge of woods on the east side of the fourth fairway of the Crowborough Beacon Golf Club. The memorial lists the surname, initials and rank of the men below.

Near this spot on July 5, 1944, nine Canadian soldiers of the
Lincoln and Welland Regiment were killed by a flying bomb. This
stone records our gratitude to them and their Canadian comrades
for all they did for the cause of freedom.

SAIGEON	Phillip William	Private B/137999. Died on July 12,1944, aged 22. Son of Robert G. Saigeon and Elizabeth M. Saigeon, of Toronto, Canada. Buried at Brookwood Military Cemetery, Surrey, plot 52, D3.
TAYLOR	Harry George	Private B/40679. Aged 24. Son of Harry George and Ida Taylor, of Toronto, Canada; husband of Agnes Taylor of Toronto. Buried at Brookwood Military Cemetery, Surrey, plot 52, C5.
