The memorial stands in the memorial garden outside All Saints' Church, Easington, Yorkshire; there is also a Roll of Honour inside the church not listed here. Th external memorial takes the form of a Latin cross mounted on a three tier plinth, the whole stands on a concrete base which is surrounded by a flower bed which is in turn surrounded by paving stones. The inscription and names are held on bronze palques affixed to the plinth.

BENNISON	Thomas Porritt	Private 26820. 3rd Battalion, Grenadier Guards. Killed in action 18th October 1918, aged 31 years. Son of Thomas and (the late) Mary Ann Bennison of Stainacre Farm, Whitby, Yorks. Husband of Laura Margaret Bennison of Greenhowe, Loftus, Yorks. Born Hawsker and enlisted Saltburn, Yorks. Commemorated St Hilaire Les Cambrai British Cemetery. B.3.
BURROWS	John	Private. 5th Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment on memorial but unable to identify and no further information.
CHALLIS	Henry	Private. 9th Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment on memorial. Possibly Henry Challice born 1888 Skelton, Yorks the son of Henry and Eliza Challice. Present Skelton 1891 as Henry Challice, present 1901 as Henry Challis and Possibly dies 1919 at age 30 years as Henry Challis. Appears Possibly died after discharge and unable to identify as casualty, no further information.
DOWEY	John William	Private 10930. 6th Battalion, North Yorkshire Regiment, transferred to 768th Area Employment Company, Labour Corps. Died 27th August 1918, aged 23 years. Son of David and (the late) Hannah Eliza Dowey of Ocean View, Sandsend, Yorks. Born Liverton (as SDGW) or Easington (as CWGC), enlisted Whitby and resident Loftus, Yorks. Wounded Dardenelles 22nd August 1915, Somme August 1916 and Ypres August 1917. Commemorated Les Baraques Military Cemetery. IV.F.9A.
DUNN	Herbert Thomas	Private 22836. Yorkshire Regiment (3rd Battalion on memorial), transferred to 206411 Labour Corps. Died home 28th November 1917. Born Staithes, enlisted Whitby and resident Staithes, Yorks. Commemorated Hinderwell Cemetery. B.E.1.
HAWKINS	John Frederick	Private 2871. 4th Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment. Died of wounds 10th October 1915, aged 25 years. Son of John and Hannah Hawkins of The Cottage, Easington, Yorks. Enlisted Northallerton and resident Middleton Tyas, Yorks. Commemorated Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery. IX.D.20.
IRONSIDE	Robert	Private 8548. 9th Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment. Died of wounds 10th October 1916. Husband of M E Ironside of 11 Cowbar Cottages, Staithes, Yorks. Born Arbroath, Scotland, enlisted Whitby and resident Staithes, Yorks. Commemorated Dernancourt Communal Cemetery Extension. III.F.18.

PARKINSON	David	Private 16566. 8th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. Died 26th September 1916. Born Dunsdale and enlisted Whitby, Yorks. Commemorated Courcelette British Cemetery. XII.B.8.
PYBUS	Jonathan Francis	Able Seaman 218339, Royal Navy. HMS ‘Ariel’. Died 2nd August 1918, aged 33 years. Son of Jonathan and Mary Pybus of Easington, Yorks. Commemorated Portsmouth Naval Memorial. 29.
ROWE	Stephen Henry	Lance Corporal 14221. 11th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. Killed in action 7th July 1916. Born Loftus and enlisted Whitby, Yorks. Commemorated Thiepval Memorial. Pier and Face 10B, 11B and 12B.
SHIPPEY	Thomas	Private 22987. 9th Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment. Killed in action 7th October 1916. Born Staithes, enlisted Stokesley and resident Great Ayton, Yorks. Commemorated Thiepval Memorial. Pier and Face 3A and 3D.
STOKER	Robert Watson	Private 35176. D Company, 8th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry. Killed in action 26th March 1918, aged 35 years. Son of (the late) Robert and Elizabeth Stoker. Husband of Margaret Alice Edgar (formerly Stoker) of 46 Cameron Road, West Hartlepool, DUR. Born West Hartlepool, DUR, enlisted Hinderwell, Yorks and resident Easington (Co Durham on SDGW but Possibly mistake and should read Yorks?). Commemorated Rosieres Communal Cemetery Extension. THEAKER	Edward	Private 16577. 2nd Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. Died 26th May 1915. Son of John and Hannah Theaker of North Side, Staithes, Yorks. Brother of Robert Theaker. Born 1888 Staithes and enlisted Whitby, Yorks. Commemorated Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. Panel 8 and 12.

WILKIN	Edwin	Rifleman R/19423. 21st Battalion, Kings Royal Rifle Corps. Killed in action 17th September 1916. Born Morpeth, NBL, enlisted Saltburn, Yorks and resident Cleveland (place unspecified). Commemorated Thiepval Memorial. Pier and Face 13A and 13B.
